The advanced Race-Tech profile looks like a diamond with smooth corners which makes it possible to reduce its dimensions when compared to an exhaust with a more traditional oval shape. This feature is important in reducing weight / dimensions and increasing the internal volume with excellent advantages in noise damping and increasing performance. Internal structure is stainless steel, TIG welded. The internal parts, sections, exit pipe and rear endcap are designed to allow for the smoother flow of exhaust gases possible, reducing back-pressure generated losses.

Race-Tech silencers have removable/replaceable sound baffles (-dB killer) so they can be full open for power / racing or tamed for street legal use with the damper in place.  +8.5 HP, +10% increase in torque. The aluminum version comes with a steel strap.
