Upgrade your stock clutch with one that slips earlier and smoother. Designed to partially disengage when the rear wheel tries to drive the engine faster than it would run under its own power. The engine braking forces in conventional clutches will normally be transmitted back along the transmission causing the rear wheel to hop, chatter or lose traction. The slipper clutch eliminates this extra loading on the rear suspension providing a more predictable ride and minimizing the risk of over-revving the engine during downshifts. Yoyodyne's design uses ball bearings on the ramps for superior performance to the OEM ramp-on-ramp design. Made from lightweight but strong aluminum alloy. Since the clutch weighs less than stock, there is less rotational mass and the motorcycle's performance is improved.
